As one of our valued customers and partners, we wanted to reassure you at this uncertain time that we are doing everything we can to keep operations moving and minimise risk across our organisation.
We understand the concerns of our customers and partners with the impact of COVID-19 and we wanted to share the steps we’ve put in place to minimise disruption to you, whilst continuing to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the wider Vue Properties family – our team, partners and trades.
Firstly, at this current time, we’re very much still in operation and will continue to be until the Government makes any additional changes to workplace situations. Our aim is to ensure that we are making as much progress as possible whilst we are still able to operate.
That being said the safety and wellbeing of our suppliers, trades, business and staff is the absolute priority and therefore we are implementing the following:
- More stringent hygiene and cleaning policies across the business
- Mandatory social distancing (no workers can be within 2 meters of each other)
- Equipping staff to work from home where possible
- Utilising online technology for all business meetings
- Ensuring any staff who are feeling unwell to stay home
Rest assured we are continuously monitoring the latest advice from leading health authorities and Government departments, and of course, will act accordingly.
Currently, the only shift in operations is that only critical emergency work (plumbing, electrical or security issues) can be undertaken by the Service and Warranty department. All other work will be logged and completed when the Dept of Health and Human Services Victoria permits.
We really appreciate that these are challenging times, however we feel that we are well placed to tackle the situation. We’re industry experts and a family-run business so we’re agile and can adapt quickly to change.
